Top management of each organization that has been in designing, preparing and implementing the Quality Management System (QMS) will always be asked about the effectiveness of the implementation of the QMS. One way to know if the QMS has been implemented effectively or not is by doing Internal Audit. The results of the Internal Audit will be used as one of the inputs in Management Review required by ISO 9001: 2008. This training will provide an understanding of the appropriate time to conduct Internal Audit, steps in carrying out the internal audit, personnel involved in the activities of the Internal Audit and the actions to be taken based on the results of the Internal Audit.

 

Objectives

After this training, participants are expected to:

1. Understand the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008
2. Understand the importance of Internal Audit and how to implement Internal Audit
3. Understand the competencies needed to become an Internal Auditor
